E-Sport-Sponsoring "Team ALTERNATE"

The past results of ALTERNATE’s e-sport team are impressive: top positions in German, European and worldwide rankings, multiple times German champion in several computer game events and countless tri-umphs at national and international tournaments.

In 2003, ALTERNATE was one of the first companies which signed on its own e-sports company team with its "Team ALTERNATE". Having sponsored several e-sports events and teams before, ALTERNATE was no longer content with being the observer and established its own e-sports project under its own name. Today, "Team ALTERNATE" is a multigaming clan with internationally individual teams being successful in Counter-Strike 1.6, Counter-Strike:Source, StarCraft II and Racing.
Moreover, with its own "Counter-Strike 1.6" female team ALTERNATE specifically promotes young female gamers which are underrepresented in the game culture.

There is true enthusiasm for e-sports behind this commitment. Many ALTERNATE employees are passionate computer gamers in their free time.
In turn, computer gamers are enthusiastic hardware fans and therefore an important buyer target group for ALTERNATE. The passion for e-sports unites customers and ALTERNATE employees.

Furthermore, by committing itself to e-sports, ALTERNATE wants to contribute to the development of a youth culture, in an area often constrained by prejudices.
